Community & Professional Education wraps up Remote Summer Camps

This week marks the last week of Kids on Campus remote camps offered through the Office of Community & Professional Education. This summer, 100 children, ages 8 -14, participated in remote camps such as Python Programmers, eSports Apprentice and JavaScript Developer Jam.

Comments received after camp included:

  • “On a personal note, I wanted to tell you how impressed I was with the instructors. They were patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. We have had the same experience with every camp he’s taken so far this summer. Just wanted you to know!” — from a parent working from home while a child attended remote camp.
  • “I have been hoping to animate my whole life and this class was what I was looking for. So far, this is one of the best things this summer.” — from a Minecraft Animators student.

Kids on Campus remote programming will continue in the fall semester. Topics will include: Coding Academy, YouTube Content Creators, ROBLOX Makers and Minecraft Redstone Engineers.

The course schedules and registration information can be found here.
